Technologies
Reflex Flashlights has invented several new flashlight technologies. Check back occasionally since more are in R&D and will be released soon. Below is a list of out core technologies:
Reflex Auto-Dimming technology
The Problem:
One of the problems with flashlights is that sometimes you need a very bright light and sometimes you only need a much dimmer light. While some flashlights on the market have multiple brightness modes, this leaves you clicking back and forth as needs change. Or, more likely, you will just settle for either having too much or too little light because clicking through the various modes is too much trouble for just a moments use.
How Reflex Auto-Dimming solves the problem:
Auto-dimming looks at how much glare is being reflected back and adjusts the light to reduce the glare. If there isn't much glare, the light will be at full strength. As glare increases the light will dim down. This process is completely automated and happens very quickly.
Benefits to you:
This feature provides several benefits including allowing objects to be examined up close such as a map, drivers license, paperwork, etc and yet still have the light quickly adjust to objects that are further away and need more light. The reduced glare reduces eye strain and also helps prevent your night vision from being temporarily destroyed. Another benefit is increased battery life since dimming the light lowers the power consumption. The savings for battery life can be quite large for cases where the light spends a lot of its time dimmed, such as reading at night.
Reflex Computer User Interface
The Problem:
While our Reflex Auto-Dimming is pretty cool, some might not like strobe. Some might want a SOS mode. Others might only want a single mode flashlight. Our computer user interface solves the problem of not being able to make everyone happy.
How Reflex Computer User Interface solves the problem:
We've devised a simple method of reprogramming your flashlight. Simply open the program on your computer, select the modes you use, hold your flashlight to the screen, and press the start button. It only takes a minute and you now have a flashlight that does what you want it to.
Benefits to you:
If you don't like the factory settings, you can quickly and easily change them. This allows the light to be easily customized to your exact preference.
